Purpose
The first step in the evolution of ethics is a sense of solidarity with other human beings (Albert Schweitzer).
This course engages participants in multidimensional topics including moral decision-making, changing perceptions of ethical behavior, policy compliance and the resolution of ethical dilemmas. Supervisors with a thorough understanding of ethics will be in a better position to guide their students in conducting research, as well as to grow their sensitivity to dilemmas arising in the supervision and research process.
