Purpose
The Confined Space Rescue SLP enables the learner to rescue a person safely and effectively from a confined space without becoming a victim him / herself. During this module the learner is taught the relevant legislation covering work within confined spaces and how to detect potential hazards associated with confined spaces. Gas analysis and other specialized tests are also covered.听 Ways of ventilating and working safely within a confined space as well as patient treatment and recovery are dealt with.
