Purpose
The course is intended to enable entry level Emergency Care Workers to manage a wide variety of emergency situations at a basic life support level and to recognize when Advanced Life Support measures are required and should thus be summoned.

18 years of age, or older Senior certificate (or the equivalent thereof). Ability to effectively articulate in English (i.e. speak, read, write & understand)
