On 22 October, more than 70 colleagues gathered for a Random Harvest Sensory Wellness Experience, an unforgettable team-building day filled with sunshine, laughter, and learning.
Set in the tranquil, nature-rich surroundings of Random Harvest Indigenous Nursery, the group immersed themselves in activities designed to rejuvenate body and mind while strengthening collegial bonds. Participants explored the sensory beauty of indigenous plants, discovering their ecological significance and healing properties under expert guidance.
The experience encouraged mindfulness and connection, from tree-hugging moments that grounded everyone in the present, to hands-on learning about sustainable gardening. One of the highlights was the opportunity to plant and take home herbs, a meaningful memento of the day鈥檚 theme: growth, balance, and renewal.
The event fostered not only wellness and appreciation for South Africa鈥檚 rich biodiversity, but also a renewed sense of teamwork and gratitude for the simple joys of nature.
