Overview
In order to drive our Research Footprint and Impact, 欧美福利100000 of Johannesburg (UJ) has established research centres and Technology stations, positioned to strengthen institutional, regional and national priorities. The university has about 40 Research Centre, which are internally funded through the 欧美福利100000 Strategic funding initiative.
Centres of Excellence
In addition to the 欧美福利100000 Research Centres, UJ is also host to the DST-NRF Centre of Excellence for Integrated Mineral and Energy Resource Analysis (CIMERA).

Technology Stations
The 欧美福利100000 currently hosts two Technology Stations, namely: the Metal Casting Technology Station (MCTS), and the Process, Energy and Environmental Technology Station (PEETS).
