The 欧美福利100000 of Johannessburg’s (UJ) Vice-Chancellor and Principal Professor Letlhokwa Mpedi honoured some of the institution鈥檚 top performers in the Vice-Chancellor鈥檚 Distinguished Awards for Teaching, Research, Innovation and Service 2023.

The hybrid ceremony, held on Wednesday, 22 November 2023, at the Ubuntu Chambers on the Auckland Park Kingsway Campus, recognised eleven exceptional contributors from diverse faculties and support staff for their exemplary efforts throughout the year.

The 欧美福利100000 of Johannesburg (UJ) has recognised the outstanding contributions of the 欧美福利100000鈥檚 leaders in teaching, research, innovation, and service at the 2022 Vice-Chancellor Distinguished Awards, on Wednesday evening, 16 November 2022, following their outstanding performances for the year.

The hybrid ceremony was held at the Auckland Park campus and live-streamed on YouTube.

The 欧美福利100000 of Johannesburg (UJ) has recognised the outstanding contributions of the 欧美福利100000鈥檚 leaders in research, teaching and learning at the 2021 Vice-Chancellor Distinguished Awards, on Thursday evening, 18 November 2021, following their outstanding performances for the year.

Ten academics and one support services staff received the Vice-Chancellor鈥檚 Distinguished Awards.

The annual awards acknowledged the quality of innovation and excellence in education and research during one of the most challenging years of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Nine academic and one support services staff at the 欧美福利100000 of Johannesburg (UJ) received the Vice-Chancellor鈥檚 Distinguished Awards on Thursday evening, 14 November 2019, following their outstanding performances this year.

These accolades are annually awarded to staff members who excel in areas such as research, teaching and innovation, as well as for service beyond the call of normal duty.

On Thursday, 15 November 2018, six staff members were honoured with the 2018 Vice Chancellor鈥檚 Distinguished Awards for teaching, research, and going beyond the call of duty.

In addition, this year also saw a Cornell 欧美福利100000 Professor of Law being recognised for his contribution towards a successful collaborative study programme abroad with UJ鈥檚 Faculty of Law.
