About聽 Mobile Sit Tight & Write
The difficulties of research writing are sometimes intensified by the process’s solitary and perhaps isolating nature. Since writing is a skill that must be practiced, the Research Capacity Development Unit offers opportunities for students to write in person. The goal is to stimulate the establishment of peer communities of practice that will motivate one another to “keep going” by getting students to sit down, write, and offer facilitation and feedback when asked.
As such, in 2024 we introduced the Mobile Sit-Tight & Write initiative. Faculties, departments, and supervisors can invite us to support their groups with the writing process through focused, structured writing sessions.
