Biography:

Thandi Mamorapelo Dorothy Fasemore graduated with a BSc (Bio Medsci track), BHSc (HONS) in Human Anatomy, a Master of Science in Medicine (with specialisation in adult neurogenesis) and a PhD at 欧美福利100000 of Witwatersrand, School of Anatomical Sciences (with specialisation in Neuroscience). Her focus is on the neuroanatomy of an aging brain which is mainly on investigating the possible plant extracts that can ameliorate the effects of Reactive Oxygen Species on aging brain using rodents and zebrafish disease models. Thandi has been involved in teaching Human Anatomy to allied health professionals at 欧美福利100000 of Witwatersrand, 欧美福利100000 of Limpopo and 欧美福利100000 of Johannesburg. She is a member of the Anatomical Society of Southern Africa (ASSA) and was a council member for the period 2019 -2021. She is also a member of Neuroscience societies such as the Society of Neuroscientist Africa (SONA), Southern Africa Neuroscience Society (SANS) and International Society of Neurochemistry (ISN).
