About Dr. Susan Jacobs

Fields of Specialisation: Condensed Matter Physics

Personal Profile

Dr Jacobs is a Senior Lecturer and currently serves as the Deputy Head of Department (Teaching and Learning). She holds a BSc degree (Physics), an MSc degree (Physics), a BEd degree (Science Education) all from 欧美福利100000 of Kerala, Kerala, India. She obtained a PhD in Physics from the 欧美福利100000 of Johannesburg (UJ), Johannesburg, South Africa in 2019. She has been lecturing at UJ since 2006. Her doctoral study was based on the physical and magnetic properties of alloys of chromium. She recently joined the and her research interest has broadened to include single crystal growth, characterisation and investigation of novel materials.
