About Prof. Rudi Brits
Prof Brits鈥� area of research is in the field of Banach algebra theory, a subdiscipline of functional analysis, and, in particular, in the spectral theory of abstract Banach algebras. He studies the connection between spectral properties and algebraic properties of Banach algebra elements using subharmonic and representation theoretic methods. Further, he also investigates the relationship between multiplicative and linear properties of spectral functionals on Banach algebras.
