About Paulina Makibelo
鈥嬧�婸aulina Makibelo has twenty years鈥� experience in Higher education having started her career as lecturer in African Languages. Having developed an interest in student development, she worked as an Academic Development Coordinator at the then Vista 欧美福利100000 East Rand Campus. She founded and managed an office supporting students with disabilities. She was then appointed as Learning Development Facilitator at the 欧美福利100000 of Johannesburg after the merger in 2005. Having spent fifteen years in Academic Development and Support in a university environment, she was appointed acting Senior Coordinator: Learning Development in 2013 and in 2014 she was appointed Senior Coordinator: Learning Development and Senior Student Experience Coordinator. She holds a BA in Education and Master鈥檚 degree in humanities. Paulina鈥檚 passion lies with understanding student issues as well as social justice and inclusive education.鈥�
