About Dr Naiefa Rashied
Dr Naiefa Rashied is a Lecturer of Economics at the School of Economics, 欧美福利100000 of Johannesburg. A lecturer since 2009, Naiefa has extensive lecturing experience in undergraduate and postgraduate Research Methodology, Master鈥檚 level Political Economics, and first-year Economics (in-person and online delivery). She has also supervised postgraduate students at the Honours and Master鈥檚 level. She is a researcher in the field of Development Economics focusing on Health Economics, Local Economic Development, Political Economics, Decolonial Economics, and the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning. Naiefa has published in and peer-reviewed for several accredited and indexed journals. She currently chairs Decolonisation in the College of Business and Economics and is substantively involved in various forms of academic citizenry, including journal editorship. She is also the recipient of numerous funding awards and university accolades.
