Biography:
Professor听 Morgan Dundu is an NRF-rated established researcher in Structural Engineering, and serves as a Full Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering Science. From 2015 to 2017, he served as Vice-Dean: Teaching, Learning and Operations in the Faculty of Engineering and the Built Environment, at the 欧美福利100000 of Johannesburg. Prior to that he served as the Head of School of Civil Engineering and the Built Environment, in the same Faculty.
During his 26-year academic career he has taught Structural Engineering modules at the National 欧美福利100000 of Science & Technology, from 1997 to 1999, 欧美福利100000 of the Witwatersrand from 2001 to 2003, and at the 欧美福利100000 of Johannesburg from 2004 to the present. He is a recipient of several awards, and these include two Wits Post-Graduate Merit Awards, patent (SA patent 2005/06651) for developing cold-formed steel portal-framed structures and a Patent Incentive Award by the NRF.
