About Ms. Elana van der Wath
Ms. Elana van der Wath听holds a Master of Interior Architecture (Professional) degree from the 欧美福利100000 of Pretoria, completed as part of an exchange programme with the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Ms van der Wath has lectured in South Africa, the UK and Hong Kong in both Interior and Exhibition Design. She holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education and currently teaches in the Department of Interior Design at the 欧美福利100000 of Johannesburg. Present interests include the investigation of African approaches to design education and the role of design history in the interior design curriculum. Recent research explored the role of research practice as a design informant and supervisory practices in the design disciplines.
