Dir. Nelson Madonsela is a business intelligence analyst and a senior lecturer at the 欧美福利100000 of Johannesburg (UJ). He holds a doctoral degree (PhD in Engineering Management) from UJ and obtained his Master of Technology degree in Operations Management from UJ, and Bachelor of Technology degree in Quality from the 欧美福利100000 of South Africa (UNISA), and National Diploma in Information Technology (Software Development) from Tshwane 欧美福利100000 of Technology (TUT). His research is situated in the area of Business and Artificial Intelligence (in the public and private sector) & Operations Management, with a particular focus on operational excellence. He also focuses in areas such as quality management systems, digital transformation and advanced project management. He has presented in both local and international conferences and has authored book chapters

Biography

Dr Nelson Madonsela is a business intelligence analyst and a senior lecturer at the 欧美福利100000 of Johannesburg (UJ). He holds a doctoral degree (Ph.D. in Engineering Management) from UJ and obtained his Master of Technology degree in Operations Management from UJ. He received a Bachelor of Technology degree in Quality from the 欧美福利100000 of South Africa (UNISA) and a National Diploma in Information Technology (Software Development) from Tshwane 欧美福利100000 of Technology (TUT). His research areas lie in Business and Artificial Intelligence, and operation management with a particular focus on operational excellence. He also focuses on areas such as quality management systems, digital transformation, and project management. He has presented at both local and international conferences and has authored book chapters. Dr Madonsela has helped in providing high-level strategic and technical guidance in the areas of quality management and advanced project management to upskill the workforce amongst industries within South Africa. Additionally, he also serves as a National Advisor on curriculum development and teaching and learning methods, and best practices in the quality and operations management domain in several universities in South Africa

Business Process Re-engineering, Decision Support Systems, Decision Making, Project Communication Management, Business and Artificial Intelligence (in the public sector) & Operations Management, with a particular focus on operational excellence; adoption and implementation of information technology (IT) in both manufacturing and service sectors
