About Dr Kathleen Fonseca
Kathleen Fonseca is the Head of Department and a senior lecturer in the Department of Childhood Education at the 欧美福利100000 of Johannesburg. Her research interest is in mathematics education with a specific focus on student teachers鈥� mathematical knowledge development and currently children鈥檚 mathematics cognition and learning. She is currently researching using functional near infrared spectroscopy (FNIRS) to measure brain activation during the solving of mathematics problems.
