About Prof. Isolde Ward-Lubbe
Prof. Isolde Ward (n茅e Lubbe) is the Head of the Department of Marketing Management at the 欧美福利100000 of Johannesburg (UJ). With over a decade of experience in research, teaching and industry collaboration, she is committed to bridging the gap between academia and industry. Prof. Ward works closely with the Marketing Association of South Africa (MASA) to ensure students are future-ready and equipped for the evolving workplace.
Before joining UJ, she worked in London at KPMG and Mazars as Head of UK Marketing Communications. Her expertise spans professional and financial services marketing, strategic marketing, consumer behaviour and contemporary retailing. She has received multiple accolades for academic excellence, including the 2025 UJ Teaching Award for her teaching portfolio and the SCiiS Excellence in Teaching Awards (2022, 2019). Under her guidance, her Honours Research Group won the CBE Research Poster Competition in 2025 for the second time.
