Dr. Marangwanda鈥檚 research interest is in the field of sustainable energy systems, focusing on improving combustion efficiency. His work involves optimizing biomass鈥揷oal co-combustion using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and machine learning techniques. He also develops value-added energy solutions such as solar-assisted thermal systems and thermal energy storage technologies for industrial and agricultural use. He also explores resource recovery and energy conversion technologies aimed at supporting cleaner, low-cost energy solutions for developing regions.
