About Dr Elizabeth Eta
Dr Elizabeth Agbor Eta is a postdoctoral researcher specializing in comparative and international education, global education governance, and global education partnerships, particularly between Africa and Finland.听 She holds a PhD in Educational Sciences from the 欧美福利100000 of Turku, Finland, where her award-winning dissertation examined the adoption and adaptation of Bologna Process reforms in the Cameroonian higher education system. She has held research and teaching positions at the 欧美福利100000 of Helsinki and the 欧美福利100000 of Turku, and听she听is currently based at the 欧美福利100000 of Tampere,听Finland,听where she examines听how听听international organisations听听strategically utilise the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as discursive and policy instruments听in the听global听governance of education.
She has contributed to major international initiatives, including the Global Innovation Network for Teaching and Learning (GINTL), strengthening partnerships between universities in Finland and Africa; the Finland鈥揜wanda Higher Education Pedagogies for Teacher Education (HEP-TED) project; and the Digital Academies in Africa (DAIA) project. She has supervised master鈥檚 theses, taught graduate and doctoral courses, and delivered keynote lectures and invited talks nationally and internationally. Her work has received international recognition, including the Finnish Educational Research Association鈥檚 Doctoral Dissertation of the Year award and an award from the International Society of Comparative Education, Science and Technology (ISCEST), Nigeria, for her outstanding contribution to education, science, and technology.
