The Special Collections Department of the UJ library acquired Eug猫ne Marais’s autographed manuscript Nag: n’ drama in vier bedrywe in 2012 through an online auction. The play was written on unlined small pages of a cloth bound exercise book. It was found after Marais’s death amongst his unpublished writings. The attainment of this rare and precious book is proof that UJ treasures and preserves Afrikaans literature.
