Do I have to be a UJ Student or UJ staff member to be able to use the Special Collections?
No.聽Anybody is welcome.聽 Non-UJ visitors and visitors that are not from a CHELSA-affiliated tertiary institution will, however,聽have to pay a visitor’s fee.
Do I have to make an appointment to visit UJ Library Special Collections?
No.聽 We would however appreciate a call or e-mail before visiting us for research on a specific theme.

Yes, you are welcome.聽 Please enter via the Doornfontein Library entrance and take the lift to the lower ground floor.
How do I get access to the collections?
Look at the collections listed and search the聽聽for our book collections.
Material is聽to be used only in the library.

How do I cite special collections?
Use the reference聽欧美福利100000 of Johannesburg Special Collections (UJSC).
Use the collection reference, file reference, title and date of the document/photograph.
