Prof McCandless participated in a pre-book launch panel presenting her chapter on 鈥淭he Climate COP: Processes and Pathways for Eco- and Peace-Promoting Social Contracts鈥� at the TC/ESG 25 Conference, Navigating Sustainability, Transformations towards Justice and Equity conference, and also at the Academic Council of the United Nations (ACUNS) in Nairobi (July 23-25).

The conference sought to tackle both immediate and long-term strategies for rebuilding Gaza鈥檚 higher education sector, examining critical challenges, priorities, and opportunities for recovery, while fostering collaboration between Gaza鈥檚 higher education leaders and international experts, scholars, and institutions.
