鈥婽he Certified Digital Practitioner (SA) Certification Programme by The Institute of Chartered IT Professionals (ICITP), Department of Basic Education (DBE) & 欧美福利100000 of Johannesburg.

About The Programme

The Certified Digital Practitioner qualification is a two-years programme that can be divided into different levels (Foundation, Intermediate, Master Level) of competencies and Specialisations: (Social Media Marketer, Software Developer, Blogger, Vlogger, Office Administrator, Customer Care Agent, Secretary in Public Service, personal Assistant, Secretary, Admin Officer, Forex Trader, App Developer, Web Content Manager, Web Developer, Graphic Developer, Graphic Designer, Animation, Robotics, Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence , Project Management, Change Management , Data Science, Data Analytics, Blockchain, Technical Support, LMS Development , Digital Entrepreneurship, Phone Repair and Support , cloud, IoT, machine learning etc.).

The training / certification deals with both new technologies and new techniques such as (DPM, reliability engineering, continuous delivery) because both demand attention. The Digital Practitioner Body of Knowledge addresses both of these aspects.

This is an intervention by the Institute of Chartered IT Professional (ICITP), The Department of Basic Education (DBE) and the 欧美福利100000 of Johannesburg (UJ).

The Masterclass is a two day intensive work-readiness preparation that will be completed either face-to-face or online with the 欧美福利100000 of Johannesburg, Doorfontein Campus or depending on the province.

Eligible Candidates

The Certified Digital Practitioner (SA) certification programme is for previous and existing learners of Computer Applications Technology (CAT) & Information Technology (IT) in Grade 12 & Tertiary Education.

Candidates:

  • Currently in Grade 12, may apply for the certification programme, attend & complete the Masterclass, and will only be certified upon submission of their final CAT or IT result. (R1500 in Grade 12)
  • That have completed and passed CAT or IT, may apply for the certification programme, attend & complete the Masterclass, and are certified on Induction/Graduation Ceremony conducted after the Masterclass. R1500
  • From Training Providers accredited by the Institute of Chartered IT Professionals 鈥揑CITP to train students towards Certified Digital Practitioner (SA) certification are also allowed to submit the names of trained students for graduation and certification at the 欧美福利100000 of Johannesburg.

Candidates need to

  1. Complete the Application Form聽
  2. Attach their Matric Results or Letter of confirmation that they are currently enrolled for CAT or IT from their school
  3. Or Letter of confirmation that they are currently enrolled for CAT or IT from ICITP accredited training provider.
  4. A copy of an ID or Passport
  5. And complete and attach proof of payment as indicated on the application form.

International Student:

International student should register with ICITP and get an admission letter signed by the registrar / CEO of the professional body- The Institute of Chartered IT Professionals for this qualification ()
