History
The journal was founded in 2010. The first three years it was sponsored by the Department of Higher Education and Training, with a grant from the European Commission The journal is closely associated with the South African Association for Research in Early Childhood Education (SARAECE 鈥撀�).
The journal has been 聽listed as an accredited journal of the Department of Higher Education and Training since 2014 and it is also listed on Scopus.
