Welcome to the Department of Finance and Investment Management (DFIM)

DFIM stands at the forefront of financial education as a key department within the School of Management at the ŷ100000 of Johannesburg’s College of Business and Economics. Our programmes are tailored to develop the skills and expertise needed for leadership in today’s fast-changing financial world.

DFIM has been recognised by the Institute for Chartered Financial Analysts (CFA), the Institute for Chartered Alternative Investment Analysts (CAIA), Financial Planning Institute of Southern Africa NPC (FPI) . This has made UJ the first university in Africa to be recognised by both the CFA and CAIA institutions.
