The staff members recognise the importance of advancing knowledge in their individual fields of study through research and publications, and contributing to the practical application of research results to solve various problems in Southern Africa. The Department鈥檚 commitment to research is evident in the large number of peer-reviewed articles.
The emphasis on research is further reflected in the large number of postgraduate students who have completed their studies at this Department during the last five years. We are also inviting potential external examiners for the postgraduate research projects undertaken in the Department.
